NTPC Recruitment 2020: Online Applications for 275 Vacancies Begin Today,

Online applications for NTPC recruitment 2020, which is being conducted for 275 vacancies, begin at 10 am on 15 July 2020 on the official National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) website. The vacancies available are for experienced candidates and are of E2 and E1 grade. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 1,60,000 for E2 grade, which is for the 250 engineer vacancies, and up to Rs 1,40,000 for E1 grade, which is for the 25 assistant chemist vacancies.

Who can Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2020?

The official notification on the NTPC website says: “NTPC is looking for 250 experienced Engineers in Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation disciplines for Shift Operation of Thermal Power Plant and 25 Experienced Assistant Chemists for our Stations/Projects.”

For the 250 engineer vacancies candidates with a first-class engineering degree, which is a BE or BTech, from a recognized university or institute (passing marks for SC, ST, or PwBD candidates) in the following streams can apply: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering.

Furthermore, there are 25 assistant chemist vacancies for which candidates with a first-class MSc degree in chemistry from a recognized university or institute can apply. Candidates are also required to have three years of relevant experience in executive and/or supervisory cadre.

Interested and eligible candidates can start applying for the vacancies from 15 July 2020, and can apply until 31 July 2020. There is also a non-refundable application fee of Rs 300 that needs to be paid through net banking, debit card, or credit card or through offline mode. However, SC, ST, PwBD, and XSM category candidates need not pay any online application fees.
